As a photographer myself, I've always appreciated locations with beautiful light, clean backgrounds, and room for clients to relax. That's why we're excited to share our private family farm with other photographers. Nestled just minutes from downtown Waxhaw, the property features wide open fields, classic black fencing, a weathered gray barn, and gorgeous natural light throughout the day. Whether you're photographing families, couples, seniors, or maternity sessions, we hope our farm provides a peaceful backdrop where you can focus on creating beautiful images while your clients enjoy the quiet charm of the countryside.
What We Offer
Our farm has been intentionally kept simple and natural, providing a timeless backdrop that works beautifully for family, maternity, couples, senior, and branding sessions.
When you book the property, you'll have access to approximately five acres of open fields with a variety of shooting locations, including:
* Expansive open pasture with room to spread out.
* Classic black board fencing throughout the property.
* A weathered gray barn exterior with rustic character.
* Mature trees that create beautiful natural backdrops.
* A long gravel driveway perfect for walking portraits and leading lines.
* Gorgeous morning light from the east and warm golden sunsets across the western fields.
* Quiet surroundings at the end of a dead-end road with little to no traffic or distractions.
* Convenient on-site parking for you and your clients.

Things to know before you book
We want your experience at the farm to be enjoyable and stress-free. Please take a moment to review a few important details before reserving your session.
* Our farm is a private family property and is available by reservation only.
* A maximum of two photographers may be booked during the same time block. The property offers plenty of space for photographers to work independently.
* This is an active farm with uneven ground, tall grass, insects, ticks, mosquitoes, and fire ants. Please dress appropriately and encourage your clients to wear suitable footwear.
* There are no restroom facilities available on the property.
* On-site parking is provided for photographers and their clients.
* Please remain within the designated photography areas and help us preserve the beauty of the farm by leaving everything as you found it.
* No confetti, glitter, smoke bombs, open flames, or other materials that could damage the property or create a fire hazard.
* Our family lives on the property. While we do our best to stay out of your way, you may occasionally see a vehicle using the driveway during your session.
* Sessions may be rescheduled due to severe weather. Please refer to the rental agreement for our complete cancellation and weather policy.
* By booking, you acknowledge that you and your clients assume the normal risks associated with visiting a rural outdoor property and agree to follow all posted rules and the rental agreement.
